During yesterday’s protest, dozens of Afghan refugees were seen holding banners and accusing authorities of forgetting about them and leaving them at the mercy of fate as they are now being evicted and have nowhere to go.
“We’ve been in Albania for several months now and we have no information as to what will happen to us or whether or not we’ll ever go to the US or Canada. An organization hasn’t paid for months. We’re here with our families and children and we need different medicaments and our children missing their education. We’re at a point when we don’t know what they’ll do with us.’
