Afghanistan: We are Ashamed, Sister!
DAWOOD KARIMY

We are Ashamed, Sister!
We are ashamed for letting the schools remain closed for 457 days, we could not do anything, and this persecution continued until they closed the universities against you.
According to Charlotte Bronte: “If one is short and obedient to cruel and cruel people, they will continue their work. They never get upset about anything and that is why they do not change. They are getting worse day by day.”
We are ashamed that we ran away, were afraid, remained silent or ignored you and your rights.
On the contrary, you did not remain silent during this time and became the thorn in the eye of those who denied you your right.
I think now you have proven that you don’t need us anymore, your presence is a bravery in itself.
So stay and fight for your right and mark another leaf in the all-male history of this land, so that future generations know that masculinity is not just about gender, sometimes to be a “man” you have to be a woman.
