AGCL and DNPL Pledge ₹5 Crores to Assam’s Flood Relief Efforts

In a remarkable display of corporate social responsibility and solidarity, Assam Gas Company Limited (AGCL) and Duliajan Numaligarh Pipeline Limited (DNPL) have collectively donated ₹5 crores to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This substantial contribution is aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by the flood-affected populace in Assam.
AGCL, a major state government undertaking, made a significant donation of ₹3 crores. The cheque was officially handed over to the Honorable Chief Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma, at his office on July 8, 2024.

The ceremony saw the presence of prominent figures, including AGCL Chairman Shri Bolin Chetia, Vice Chairman Shri Indra Gogoi, and Managing Director Shri Gokul Chandra Swargiyari, alongside Vice Chairman of DNPL, Shri Ashwini Pait. On the same day, DNPL, a joint venture of AGCL, Oil India Limited (OIL), and Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), followed suit with an additional contribution of ₹2 crores.
