AGCL handed over the 1st Letter of Allotment for setting up of Integrated Retail Outlet

November 7, 2022, Duliajan: Setting up a new era in the industrial  history of Assam, the most profitable and flagship company under the State Government,  Assam Gas Company Limited (AGCL)  today forwarded a step further in their move of diversification of business by setting up Retail Outlets across North Eastern States.

“Historic era in the History of the Most Profitable PSU under the Government of Assam” 

The Managing Director of AGCL, Gokul Chandra Swargiary, at a function held in Duliajan Head Quarter of the Company, today handed over the 1st Letter of Allotment (LOA) for setting up of Integrated Retail Outlet for selling MS (Petrol), HSD (Diesel), CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and EV (Electric Vehicle)  Charging Stations at Joysagar in Sivasagar District. 

Speaking on the occasion, AGCL Managing Director, Gokul Chandra Swargiary  said, “It’s a giant leap for AGCL.”  

“We are looking forward to triple our turnover in the next fiscal.” – He added.

 Aditya Kumar, Senior Manager (Marketing), Samarjit Durga Neog, DGM (Retail Business and Coordination) participated today’s function, organized on this occasion at the AGCL Head Quarter.

It may be mentioned that, AGCL has stepped into the Petroleum Retailing Business as part of their diversification and expansion plans.  The company will be setting up over 120 Retail Outlets across the North Eastern States. The Company has already received authorization from Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) for setting of such Retail Outlets.
