Anjan Sarma

A writer and an entrepreneur, Anjan Sarma has been in the field since 1978. He authored 25 books, and written hundreds of Articles in Newspapers and Magazines.

He has also been actively involved in the Printing and Publishing sector, as well as in the Education Sector by running Faculty MP High School since 2007, under the Multicultural Educational Development Trust. In addition, He is also the Editor and Publisher of a Digital Magazine website.

Mr. Sarma authored 25 books out of which, Paromanovik Xomoi, Asom Andolonor Osumpurno Itihash, Luitporiya Xokol Sawadhan; Aakou Aahise Maan, Itihase Ringiai: Narnarayan Chilarai, Kochbihar Kidore Hol Bongor Ango, Hiu-En-Chang Jodi Etiya Axomoloi Ahe, Hingsha Ne Ahingsha, Andharote Ji Xaar Pai, Indira Gandhi: Byakti aru Byaktitwar Ulotapithi, Antahin Gagan Virus Jibon, Drug, AIDS are reader’s delight.

Mr Sarma also served as Editor to many famous magazines and newspapers. Few of them are Mahabahoo (Fortnightly Magazine from 1980), Mahekia Brahmaputra (Monthly Magazine from 1986), Saptahik Nilachal (from 1988 to 1997, Natun Dainik, Adinor Sangbad.

Mr. Sarma translated many books including ‘Generalissimo Chilarai & His Times’ (J. Mr. Sarma has more than 40 years of experience in printing industry. He is also serving as a director at Bhabani Offset & Imaging Systems Private Ltd and Bhabani Books since 2007.

Mr. Sarma is also involved with many other organizations in various roles. He is the Managing Trustee of Multicultural Educational Development Trust. He is the proprietor of Powershift (Publisher of mahabahoo.com, Publisher of several books; digitization, content uploading, content development, photography, proofreading, arranging seminars, etc.). He is trustee, Media Trust- Assam. He was franchisee of Tata Infotech Education at Ulubari for 5 years and Franchisee of Sikkim Manipal University at Maligaon for 10 years
