A group of protesting women in Kabul have accused the world of being silent about the situation of Afghan women and say that they have become victims of gender discrimination in front of the eyes of other nations and governments.

Here is a photo of women walking down a street in Kabul 50 years ago. In the 1970s,women could choose to cover up or to wear mini skirts. They had the right to work and to be educated. They could walk around the city without a male escort. Imagine being a mother of young girls in Kabul right now.

#حجاب_بی_حجاب
PN: If you have a connection to the Iranian women’s resistance ( against Hijab & others), in honor of these women in the face of repression and oppression, include the hashtag #حجاب_بی_حجاب in the communion to know that they are seen, heard, and that the People of Afghanistan are pressing their hands warmly from a distance.
Until liberation...

Cholera continues to take live in Afghanistan, as per the local sources in #Daykundi , 11 children have died of cholera in the border area of Daykundi-Helmand. According to the local ppl, the disease has been spreading in Dasht, Girjoy, Taak, Shinya villages of Nawmish District.
I hope the International health organizations if any present in #Afghanistan do something to prevent the spread of this, and I want the @World Health Organization @MSF_USA notice of this & do something.

In this two pictures you can see the deterioration of women’s education in Afghanistan.
One of the picture was taken in 1981 in the computer center of the polytechnic institute of Kabul where women were being taught by other women about computing technology.
In the another photo, it shows the situation of women’s education nowadays.
Currently women are prohibited to go to school and get proper education, and even leaving their houses are not possible for them without a male guardian.
This is a clear violation of human rights and can not be tolerated.
