Earth Mother Experience: Hydroponic Forest, green careers school and a manifesto – the new InnoNature revolution

Claudia Laricchia
The World is living a broken bond: three quarters of our ecosystems damaged, half of our forests gone, one million species vanishing. Humans threaten humans so much that hope seems an illusion and not the flame of a needed motivation to reverse the current direction. What should we do? How?
Nowadays it is mandatory to involve some specific so called vulnerable communities, that are the most needed and powerful. Women are at the heart of change: we produce up to 80% of the food in emerging countries, yet we own less than 10% of the land. So we are producing more with less.

By empowering women, we leverage this imbalance for a collective ecological and social benefit. Indigenous communities are the custodians of Mother Earth: 5% of the world population is still protecting 85% of worldwide biodiversity. They are the most affected by the climate emergency that they are less responsible for. Women and indigenous people are not only the most impacted by environmental crises, but also the most essential leaders in shaping solutions, as they already proved. Their voices are our compass for balance, resilience, and reconnection.
That’s why the SMILY Academy – the experiential educational platform born in the heart of the Indigenous Peoples’ Climate Justice Forum -, designed the Earth Mother Experience, a life changing journey that unites innovation and indigenous roots, building peace, nature, and rights, led by women, in a world that needs them more than ever.
Earth Mother Experience is likely to be held in Assam (India) from March 20 to 26 2026. Assam is the global hotspot for biodiversity, it is home to 952 species of medicinal plants having uses in Ayurvedic, Unani, Homeopathic and modern medicine; it is one of the “endemic bird areas” in the world with 950 species, or 53.5% of the total for the Indian Sub- Continent and it is a conservation success story with 6 National Parks and 20 Wildlife Sanctuaries. This region is not only a biodiversity hotspot, hosting rare species like the one-horned rhinoceros in Kaziranga National Park, but also home to over 20 million indigenous people, whose knowledge is central to global conservation efforts. Assam is also the home of the Indigenous Peoples’ Climate Justice Forum and the iconic place of the legendary story of the hero Jadav Payeng, named the Forest Man of India.
Now, imagine walking through a forest 700 football fields in size, planted by Jadav in over 45 years. A single man healing the Planet who decided in 2023 to plant a new human consciousness with the SMILY Academy.

And imagine women leaders from around the world joining forces with indigenous communities to attend an unprecedented mission, the Earth Mother Experience in Assam, with a precise purpose: write and spread the first Women Manifesto for Mother Earth and support the first Hydroponic Forest in the holy area of the Molai Forest, a forest that will double its tree coverage in just 2.5 years, thanks to Got Produce Inc. and Jadav’s Academy. Welcome to the Earth Mother Experience, a groundbreaking initiative, in collaboration with the Italian Association GammaDonna, leading women entrepreneurs and young talents, and Canadian powerhouse Emperia Industries, whose media partner is Mahabahu Magazine.
The lush landscapes of Assam is proposed for hosting this groundbreaking initiative, a transformative expedition uniting women entrepreneurs, indigenous communities, and cutting-edge environmental technology. A seven-day immersive journey promises to redefine how leadership, nature, and innovation intersect, using hydroponics, which is a soil-free, water-efficient, multi-layered cultivation system that recreates the structure of a forest to grow diverse plants and tree in a highly sustainable way.
The initiative was officially launched during the prestigious Global Summit Women AgriTech in Belgium (September 24–27, 2025), hosted by Prince Edouard De Ligne and Princess Isabella Orsini De Ligne.

The initiative will bring together 30 visionary women entrepreneurs from across the globe, offering them a deep dive into the heart of Assam’s ecological and cultural heritage. Specifically, the agenda is divided into three transformative dimensions.
- History: participants will explore Assam’s archaeological sites like Sibsagar, tracing the rich cultural legacy of its indigenous populations.
- Spirituality and Nature: from tribal rituals to Majuli, iconic spiritual site to the biodiversity of Kaziranga National Park, attendees will reconnect with both inner and outer ecosystems, guided by the wisdom of local communities, including the landmark for education Jyoti Protap Gyanmarg Bidyalay.
- Future: the journey culminates in the inauguration of the world’s first hydroponic forest in Molai Forest, thanks to the innovative Biodiversity Hydroponic System by Got Produce.
InnoNature is a pathway where innovation meets nature; where women and indigenous peoples together raise their voices and their impactful actions for a common wellbeing. The technology behind the hydroponic forest empowers local communities and restore their ecosystems. Besides around it SMILY Academy will cooperate with Got Produce for a green careers oriented school, giving job opportunities and creating regenerative development models. In this framework the Manifesto of Women for Mother Earth represents a visionary blueprint linking female leadership, indigenous wisdom, and technological innovation. This manifesto, paired with the hydroponic forest initiative, embodies a new era of regenerative eco-business where profit and social impact work hand in hand.

Sâadia Lakeha, CEO of Emperia Industries, emphasizes that the collaboration strengthens international networks while supporting Earth’s custodians: “We’re shaping a responsible, sustainable, and regenerative business ecosystem that truly matters for the next generations.” Valentina Parenti, President of GammaDonna underscores the need to “unlearn old paradigms and apply the Indigenous Factor,” while Deborah Walliser points to the transformative potential of combining innovation with community-led restoration.
