
Guwahati the 27th October- Assam Police Wives’ Welfare Association (APWWA) in collaboration with B. Barooah Cancer Institute Guwahati today conducted a Health Awareness and Disease Detection Camp in Police Reserve Bongaigaon. The Health Awareness and Disease Detection camp was organized for lady Police personnel and lady wives’ of 8th APBn Abhyapuri, ladies of Chirang and Bongaigaon districts. Swapnali Mahanta, President APWWA and Ruchi Bharadwaj Barah, Secretary APWWA inaugurated the health camp in presence of august gathering.

On the occasion, Senior Doctors of B. Barooah Cancer Institute Guwahati addressed the gathering and explained the importance of health care.

In the camp total 81 lady officers and lady wives’ of 8th APBN, Abhayapuri, Chirang and Bongaigaon districts had participated. Out of total 81 participants two cases were detected having unhealthy Cervix with moderate erosion detected.
