From Engineering to Corporate Excellence: In 2007, fresh out of college and armed with a mechanical engineering degree, Pranab entered the workforce with Maruti Suzuki Company in Gurgaon, joining their Research and Development (R&D) section. However, Pranab’s hunger for growth did not stop at engineering. His desire to expand his knowledge beyond the technical field led him to pursue an MBA from the renowned Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong in 2008.
After completing his MBA, Pranab joined Hindustan Petroleum in 2010, taking on a role in the sales and marketing department. His ability to adapt, coupled with a strong work ethic, saw him quickly rise through the ranks. Yet, this was only the beginning of a remarkable career that would eventually catapult him into leadership roles both within India and internationally.
The Leap to Leadership: From 2011 to 2018, Pranab took on the monumental challenge of being part of the Leadership Programme at Robert Bosch in Bangalore. This period was crucial in honing his leadership abilities and strategic thinking. His hard work paid off when, at the age of 31, Pranab became Bosch’s youngest Deputy General Manager and Zonal Head for the East Zone. His rapid rise within the company was a reflection of his commitment, passion, and innovative thinking.
His journey took an international turn when he was appointed to roles in Stuttgart, Germany, and Shanghai, China, where he oversaw the operations of Bosch Online. These stints abroad not only broadened his professional horizons but also exposed him to global business dynamics, enriching his entrepreneurial mindset.

In 2014-2015, while working at Bosch, Pranab chose to immerse himself in the operations of a chicken layer farm in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu. And he worked as a general laborer, learning the intricacies of running a business from the ground up. This experience profoundly influenced his entrepreneurial mindset, teaching him the value of humility, hard work, and resilience—qualities that would later define his success.
In 2018, as the Advantage Assam initiative was gaining momentum, Pranab made a bold decision to return to his homeland and start his own venture. His entrepreneurial spirit culminated in the establishment of NOBLE, a company that initially focused on school uniforms but later expanded into textile printing. The initial journey was far from smooth—Pranab faced numerous challenges, including repeated loan rejections. However, his resilience and tenacity propelled him forward.
Rising to the Challenge: The COVID-19 Pivot: The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented challenges worldwide, and Pranab once again demonstrated his ability to adapt. As the world grappled with the crisis, he seized the opportunity to diversify his business.
NOBLE quickly pivoted to the production of masks and PPE kits, addressing the urgent needs of the healthcare system during the pandemic. This innovative pivot not only helped his business survive but also contributed to the larger community by providing essential protective equipment during a time of crisis.
