Today, November 15, is International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and we celebrate this day as Afghan women are subjected to torture and the highest level of violence in the world.
We are witnessing murder, torture, and imprisonment of women by the Taliban every day.
I call on women in the world and women’s rights and human rights defenders to be in harmony with the women of Afghanistan.
Don’t let Afghanistan become a women’s cemetery.We have protested in Terni, a city of Italy, with my husband Wamal Sahel.
