Joint Military Operation Against KNF?

KNF-Intelligence Branch Special Report on signing of secret agreement between Bangladesh Government Army-RAB and Arakan Army (AA) to conduct joint military operation against Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) in Chittagong Hill Tracts:
On last 14/11/22, a secret meeting was held with senior officials of Bangladesh Army including Arakan Army (AA) and DGFI, BGB officials at Tamru village on Bangladesh-Myanmar border. In this secret meeting, some officials including Lt. Col. Sadhuong were present on behalf of AA Army. The decisions taken in the said meeting are as follows:
1) KNF must be spread from the soil of this country through the Arakan Army, i.e. eradicated. In return for this, the Bangladesh government will pay the AA forces as per the agreement;
2) Joint operation by Arakan Army and Bangladesh Army against KNF under terrorist name (failed but still ongoing);
3) If the operation is successful, the Bangladesh government will provide the Arakan Army with all the necessary money and supplies (even now the Bangladesh Army is providing various logistics including ammunition and necessary supplies);
4) AA forces on Bangladesh soil will be allowed to use the territory of Bangladesh arbitrarily until Arakan is independent.
It is to be noted that after returning to that meeting, a high-ranking officer of the DGFI was shot dead in a sudden attack by a guerrilla. According to the decision of the said agreement, around 8 pm on 16/11/22, about 60-70 AA army with sophisticated weapons came to Cheikhiang neighborhood to attack KNF. 13 km of Baklai neighborhood to Arakan army by Bangladesh army car.
From Tamlau Para brought up to Bangladesh-Myanmar border. From there it runs towards Cheikhiang Para and comes to the forest road. The AA armies rested on the Seventy-first, Seventy-second and Seventy-third borders.
The next morning Cheikhiang came to the village. But as there were no KNF members in Cheikhiang neighborhood, the AA forces started harassing the villagers in various ways.
He started beating men and women. Upon arrival in the village, the AA Army officer Sadhuong frankly admitted to the villagers that the Arakan Army (AA) had entered into an agreement with the Bangladesh Army to fight the Kuki Army KNA, where the KNF forces were – and kept asking the villagers, etc.
Then there was panic among the villagers. After a while, the villagers including the shopkeeper asked everyone to sit under a tree and surrender. And the KNF started looking for members.Then a KNF informer stationed in the village and a KNF private on leave called to speak. 10 innocent villagers including 4 unarmed KNF members were caught and tied with ropes.
Bangladesh will hand them over to the army and pay the AA force according to the contract.
Two sections of the KNF Army (Kuki-Chin Special Force or KSF) moved into the Cheikhiang neighborhood shortly after receiving the news of the AA Army’s torture of innocent people. And three KNF Army men on AA duty spotted the two and immediately opened fire on them. All three on duty fell to the ground when the KNF counter-attacked.
Then the attack and counter-attack inside the village started and within moments seven more AA troops were killed by KNF fire. The AA forces retreated and eventually surrendered and announced a withdrawal of hostilities AA Army lost about 10 casualties in counter-attacks by both.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Army and RAB forces increased army strength in the vicinity of the KNF camp and the next afternoon during a battle with AA forces, Bangladesh Army from Thaikhiang Para fired 40 long-range bombs targeting the KNF which mostly landed in Thingdal and surrounding forests of Sunsong Para.
And the KNF fired several rounds at the forces.However, although none of the KNF were injured, 2 elderly people and 3 children of Thingdal village were seriously injured. As everything, including vehicles, was stopped, the injured children were taken to Mizoram on a long jungle path, i.e. a three-day-three-night walk.
They are currently staying in a refugee camp in Mizoram. On 24/11/22, 14 innocent abducted persons were released.Note that due to the armed conflict between KNA (Kuki-Chin National Army) agitating for independence with the said joint forces (Arakan Army and Bangladesh Army), more than three hundred innocent Kuki-Chin people have migrated to Mizoram state of India.
