Kamal Haasan’s much-anticipated action drama, Thug Life, helmed by esteemed director Mani Ratnam, is poised for release, with its first show kicking off at 9 am on Thursday, following special show approvals from the Tamil Nadu government.

This film marks a historic reunion for Haasan and Ratnam after 37 years since their iconic collaboration on Nayakan in 1987, heightening the excitement surrounding its debut.

Set to be one of the most talked-about Indian films of the year, Thug Life will have its first-day-first-show (FDFS) commence simultaneously across the country, a notable shift from other recent Tamil films like Vijay’s Leo, which enjoyed early screenings in states without similar restrictions.

Including block seat allocations, the total projections sit at Rs 12.32 crore-substantially lower than the advance totals for Haasan’s recent movies.
