Once in Poland, Ukrainians decide where to go next.
Canada is one of the few countries that has significantly simplified the entry and stay rules for Ukrainians.
The CUAET program provides Ukrainians with extended temporary resident status and allows them to work, study and stay in Canada until they can return home safely.
Ukrainians can apply for a free guest visa (up to 10 years) and an open work permit and have the right to stay in Canada for 3 years as opposed to the standard 6-month residence permit for regular visitors.
