Pragjyotish College celebrated the 9th International Yoga Day

Pragjyotish College celebrated the 9th International Yoga Day, 2023 with great solemnity.

The IQAC and the Health Care Maintenance and Promotion Committee of the Pragjyotish College organized the program together with the NSS and NCC units of the college.

The Youth Hostel Association of India (YHAI) and UNESCO, Guwahati Chapter also extended their support.

The Principal of the College , Dr Manoj Kumar Mahanta along with the President of the Governing Body, Jagadindra Rai Choudhary and some other members of the Governing Body also took part in the Program.

The students and teachers wore T-shirts sponsored by the college authority to mark the 9th International Yoga Day.

The highlight of the program was the yoga performance by Ms. Kuhi Deka, World Record holder Yoga artist.

Kishore Kumar Choudhury, Ex Director & Former Controller of Exams, CBSE and Dr. Ashwini Sarma, General Secretary, UNESCO, Guwahati unit are the other delegates who joined the program. Bijoylakshmi Baruah, Yoga instructor co-ordinated the yoga session.
