RACHNA NATH from ASSAM Selected for Analog Astronaut Mission

We are proud to announce, a super talented and a great teacher, a fellow Assamese, Rachna Nath got selected to join an all “women of color” crew for an Analog Astronaut mission in Poland over the summer.

Rachna will be part of a 6 women team from all over the world, taking part in research in a simulated Lunar environment at LUNARES (https://lunares.space/) for two whole weeks, living inside the simulated environment and conducting research.

She will be able to telecast live from inside the environment.

Rachna is planning to publish her research in STEAM education in research journals after it’s done.

 “Women of Color” crew for an Analog Astronaut mission in Poland over the summer from 21st June to 12th July.

 It’s a great achievement , we are proud of Rachna – she earlier was the TIME Innovative Teachers 2022  – a rare honor for a person of Assam origin.

Rachna said that this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for her.

We are all so excited for Rachna. The team will have their custom costume patch made. They are “FALCON 2023″ group!

Rachna is the Biologist and the STEM outreach manager for the group.
