A major recent breakthrough for Starlink has been securing the Global Mobile Personal Communication by Satellite (GMPCS) license in India from the Department of Telecommunications. This crucial approval, following OneWeb and Reliance Jio, paves the way for Starlink to offer satellite communication services across the vast Indian subcontinent.
