UKRAINE: ‘I Said Goodbye To my Russian Father forever’

There are no more families in our country whose fates have not been broken by this war.

I am half Russian and half Ukrainian by blood, but 100% Ukrainian by heart and citizenship.

I have never had any Russian documents, and yesterday I blocked my Russian father and all my relatives from Russia everywhere I could.

Yesterday was my Russian father’s birthday. It was his 60th birthday, and I called him to wish him a peaceful sky. He started telling me some bloody Russian propaganda, saying it’s the Ukrainian army killing civilians in #Bucha (10 km from my house).

I said goodbye to him forever and told him it was our last call.

On the 39th or 40th day of the war…!

 Blocking your own parents doesn’t seem to be something you’re not capable of doing.

 It hurts.

But #Bucha, #Mariupol, #Chernihiv, #Irpen, #Kharkiv, #Enerhodar, #Kyiv and #Ukraine hurts more..
