UKRAINE : Russia once again demonstrates that it does not seek peace

A year ago, together with my team, I visited the plant of the American company FLEX in Mukachevo.
At that time, I was impressed by the scale of investment, the level of technology, and the strength of this enterprise. And wherever we traveled abroad — to Japan, Berlin, or other cities — we came across household electronics made here. Made in Ukraine.

Today, Russia attacked Mukachevo and this very plant. As a result of a missile strike, 19 people were injured. The enemy has decided to “liberate” Ukraine from coffee machines.
Thanks to well-practiced air raid response procedures, all 600 employees on shift at the time managed to reach the shelter in time. This saved lives — there were no fatalities. I am grateful to the company’s management for taking care of people’s safety.
Representatives of local and central authorities remain in contact with the plant’s leadership to address immediate needs.
To the families and loved ones — my words of support.
To the Ukrainian FLEX team — I wish strength and resilience. We stand with you.
“The goal is obvious — terror. Terror against people, businesses, normal life, against the entire civilized world. This is the same logic Russia applies everywhere: to destroy what it cannot control.”

Russia once again demonstrates that it does not seek peace. Last night, Ukraine suffered a massive combined attack: drones, cruise and ballistic missiles, and even hypersonic weapons – all directed against our cities and infrastructure. There are casualties and wounded.
The goal is obvious – terror. Terror against people, businesses, normal life, against the entire civilized world. This is the same logic Russia applies everywhere: to destroy what it cannot control.
That is why strengthening Ukraine’s defense remains critically important. We urgently need additional air defense systems and interceptor missiles to protect people and the infrastructure of our partners. At the same time, the diplomatic track must intensify. Both bilateral and trilateral meetings, including with the United States, are necessary to compel Russia to stop its war.
Ukraine continues to demonstrate readiness to work for peace. But peace requires pressure. It requires reliable security guarantees from our allies in Europe and the United States. And it requires holding Russia accountable for every crime it has committed.

Russia continues to manifest its fears into pure acts of terrorism all over Ukraine, last night again targeting the homes of Ukrainian families, their sleeping children.
Among other regions of Ukraine targeted by Russians overnight was a residential neighborhood in Okhtyrka in the Sumy region, striking 13 private homes, 14 people hospitalized, including a family with three children:
a 5-month-old, 4-year-old, and 6-year-old boys.
Pure terrorism.
