AGCL MD assured of solving the problem soon
For smooth running of different organisational functions, top PSU under the state government of Assam, Assam Gas Company Limited (AGCL) has implemented Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) since January this year.
Under this transitional period, all the data of all the consumers are converted and stored from old system to the new system.
We need some time to convert old data of our more than 50000 consumers into the new system. So naturally the bill preparation and sending them to consumers get delayed. A senior official of the HR department stated.
Moreover, AGCL has already adopted a system of sending bills to the consumers on a period of every two months gap. The official said.

We are in a transition period for greater benefit of our consumers. I assured all the consumers of the company to solve the bill delay problem soon. Gokul Chandra Swargiyari, MD, AGCL said while talking to this correspondent.
