1. Max Levin.
Photojournalist and war correspondent.
Maxim has been working for the online edition ” LB.ua” for more than 10 years.
The journalist’s work has been recognized around the world: Reuters, BBC, TRT World, The Associated Press, The Wall Street Journal, TIME, Breaking News Poland, EU AGENDA, World news, The Moscow Times, Korrespondent.net , ELLE , TV24, Radio Bulgaria and Vatican News.
On March 13, Maxim stopped communicating, and on April 1 he was found dead.
2. Brent Renault.
Brent Renaud was an American war journalist and documentarian who worked for The New York Times. On March 13, at the checkpoint at the entrance to #Irpin, Russian troops shot Renault, who was trying to get into the city, in order to capture the process of evacuating civilians
3. Pierre Zakshevsky and Alexandra Kuvshinova.
Both worked for Fox News Media. Pierre was a cameraman, he managed to visit the hot spots of Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria. Alexandra was the producer. They died March 14 as a result of artillery shelling by Russian troops in the village of #Gorenko, #Kyiv region.
4. Lilia Gumyanova.
She was a teacher of journalism and head of the art department of the Levoberezhny District House of Children and Youth Creativity in Mariupol. Also, Lilia was the head of the Dreamers journalistic circle for teenagers. On March 19, she died due to rocket attacks on #Mariupol.
5. Eugene Bal.
Ukrainian journalist and writer, lived near Mariupol. seaside village of Melekino. On March 18, Russians broke into Yevgeny’s apartment. As a result of the search, a photo with Ukrainian military men was found at Yevgeny’s. For this, he was tortured for 3 days, after which the writer died.
6. Vera Girich.
Ukrainian journalist and producer who worked for 1+1, Espresso TV, Radio Svoboda. On April 28, she died as a result of shelling of residential areas of #Kyiv by Russian troops. The Russian shell hit. exactly to Vera’s apartment.
7. Alexander Makhov.
Ukrainian soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military journalist. Alexander worked on the Luhansk channel “IRTA”, was a correspondent for “Ukraine”, Ukraine 24 and Dom. Alexander died on May 4 near the city of Izyum
as a result of artillery shelling of Russian infidels. He was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” III degree.
8. Alexey Chubashev.
He was a military correspondent, author and host of the Recruit.UA program for the military, headed radio stations
“Army FM” and “Military TV”. With the beginning of a full-scale Russian invasion, the APU returned to the ranks. Alexey died on June 10
9. Victor Dudar.
Victor was not only a war correspondent, but also a warrior. For more than 10 years he worked as a military journalist in the Express newspaper. Victor died on March 6 during the battles for Nikolaev, defending the city from the Russian invaders. He was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” III degree.
