Assam Gas Company handed over Dividend share of more than 5 Crores to Assam Govt.

Duliajan, November 2 : The highest profit making PSU under the government of Assam, Assam Gas Company Limited has paid the Dividend share to the state government on November 1st,2022.
The Assam Gas Company Limited Management has handed over a cheque of Rupees Five Crores Seven Lakhs Forty Three Thousand and four hundred seventy (50743470.00) to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma as dividend share.
“We are committed to generate more turnover in the next two fiscals.” Assam Gas Company Managing Director, Gokul Chandra Swargiary stated to this correspondent while talking about this move.
With the rapid growth of Turnover the dividend share to the government of Assam will definitely increase in number. He added.
On this ocassion, Assam Gas Company Limited, Chairman and MLA of Sadiya Constituency, Bolin Chetia, Managing Director, Assam Gas Company Limited, Gokul Chandra Swargiary, Chief Financial Officer and General Manager, (Finance), Haren Mahanta together handed over the cheque at Chief Minister’s residence.
