BOUND BY HOPE

Like I said before

                 When was that ?

a minute ago didn’t I

tell you not to ask

any question

when you see me

in deep contemplation

As your Messiah,

I am preoccupied with

your well-being day and night

Uninterrupted silence

gives me the space

to think how to make

all my subjects

happy and rich

with kind of a Midas touch !

God has been kind

to have granted me

a secret boon

Before trying it

on my people

as a precaution against

ill effects as yet unknown,

I experimented the secret

on the family of my own

and the clan !

Yes they have been able to turn

stones into gold indeed !

               Are you going to share the

               secret with the people who

               struggle to make both

               ends meet ?

Why are you dogging me

like my shadow all the time,

isn’t it in the hope of

getting a sniff of the

secret boon ?

Ask yourself the question

and you will know

HOPE is all that you need

to keep you

going on and on !!
