With the thought of immersing one’s mind in the myriad realities of the society and the role of ‘Media’ in it, a historic bi-lingual book in Assamese & English (1200 pages) titled ‘History of 175 Years of Media in Assam & Beyond’ edited by Anjan Sarma, has been published by ‘Mahabahoo’ (powered by Powershift) in association with ‘Multicultural Educational Development Trust”, (MEDT), Assam on 31st January, 2021, as Media in Assam completed 175 years of its eventful journey in January 2021. The event was held in the Auditorium of Institution of Engineers, Panbazar, Guwahati-1.
After the successful event, a Special Issue of Mahabahoo/Mahabahu also published with valuable write-ups on the event & etc, photographs, about the historical Book and contents/writers.
