Emran Wadan : An Afghan Young Photographer
Sadia Hashimi
Looking for sponsors for an Afghan young photographer who has a passion for capturing the beauty and diversity of his country (Afghanistan).
His name is Emran Wadan and he is 25 years old. He has been traveling to the remote and forgotten areas of Afghanistan, where he documents the lives, cultures, and landscapes of the people who live there.
He uses his camera as a tool to tell their stories and to show the world another and beautiful face of Afghanistan. He needs someone to sponsor his captured photography and upcoming projects.
He uses his photography as a way of expressing his vision and his emotions.
Emran Wadan has a dream of becoming a professional photographer and sharing his work with the world. He believes that his photos can show the positive and hopeful side of Afghanistan that is often ignored or forgotten. He also wants to use his photos as a means of supporting and empowering the people and the communities he visits.
However, Emran Wadan faces many challenges and difficulties in pursuing his dream. He has limited funds, opportunities, and guidance. He also has to deal with the insecurity, instability, and discrimination that affect many photographers in Afghanistan.
That is why I am looking for someone who can sponsor him. Emran Wadan needs sponsors who can provide him with financial assistance, professional advice, and exposure opportunities. He also needs mentors who can help him improve his skills, protect his rights, and expand his network.

Emran Wadan expressed about his experience:
This was my experience of visiting Wakhan, Badakhashan, Afghanistan with few pictures below:
A glimpse of Wakhan, the hidden valley of Badakhshan, where life is simple and hard.
Surrounded by the majestic mountains of the Hindu Kush and Pamir, this remote region is home to a few thousand people who live in harmony with nature.
They rely on farming, herding, and trading for their survival. They have little access to modern facilities, such as electricity, health care, and education.
They face many challenges and risks, such as harsh weather, natural disasters, and isolation. Yet, they also have a rich culture and history, dating back to ancient times.
They have preserved their traditions, languages, and religions, despite the changes and conflicts that have affected Afghanistan.
They are proud of their identity and heritage, and welcome visitors with hospitality and curiosity. Wakhan is a place of beauty and mystery, where one can experience a different and authentic way of living.
