Ukraine : The power of a woman lies in her voice!

On October 29, at the initiative of the Successful Women’s Club, a significant gathering of women from Kyiv, Mariupol, Odessa, and Lviv took place in Kyiv. The purpose of this meeting was to consider ways of cooperation, enhance communication, and identify key common issues.
Among the participants were mayors’ advisors, local council deputies, Cabinet of Ministers’ committee advisors, recipients of the “Person of the Year” award, heads of associations, and public organizations contributing to a new social reality, under the theme: “A self-sufficient woman as a stable foundation of society.”
Subsequently, each participant shared her personal story, and we identified common interests and opportunities for collaboration in fields such as psychology, medicine, and even nuclear security.
It’s no surprise that the slogan “Invest in women” was the central theme during the open debate of the UN Security Council on women, peace, and security, on October 25-26 at the UN headquarters in New York. In this context, the female voice served as a potent catalyst for change and solutions in global peace and security matters.
“I was unaware that only 22% of women work in the field of nuclear energy, and the representation in management positions is many times less.”
The power of a woman lies in her voice!
The power of a woman’s voice is exceedingly significant in today’s world. Women with clear convictions and a readiness to defend them play a crucial role in society.
“The story of a woman who divorced her husband at the beginning of the war because he chose to leave abroad, and she, with her 3 children, regarded herself in the defense of her hometown, Irpen. Then headed the aid coordination headquarters and serves as the mental health coordinator for the Kyiv region within the Cabinet of Ministers. In addition, she cares for 558 autistic children.”

Investing in women is, an investment in well-being and the future. Ukraine‘s experience attests to this fact. Involving women in vital missions and acknowledging their voices is vital not just for the nation’s progress but also for the establishment of a fairer and more harmonious society.
Thus, the influence of the female voice is a driving force for change and advancement that deserves greater recognition and support, as it contributes to a better world for all.

What details of personal stories touched me personally:
How a woman, who had been a premium jewelry business founder for 20 years, transitioned to military service (Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine), personally digging trenches around Kyiv and filling sandbags for defense structures.
Another woman, whose husband owned a construction company and construction equipment, joined her entire team in digging trenches personally.

One woman having 5 own children introduced Hibuki therapy in educational process from Israel, which involves huggable dogs the size of one-year-old children. 2,500 teachers have already been trained.
