After his father’s retirement, the Sarma family returned to the embrace of Assam. Armed with a Post Graduate degree in Computer Applications, Sanjeev ventured into the corporate world, honing his skills at multinational giants like ZAP Infotech and IBM Global Services.

However, the entrepreneurial spirit within him was restless, urging him to carve a path of his own, leading to the birth of “Webx” in 2001.

His brothers, Jayant(a) Sharma and Simant(a) Sharma, joined the journey, turning it into a family affair.

The years that followed saw the introduction of the first E-Tendering System and Online Content Management System in 2005 for NF Railways, followed by the first Webcasting Solution for Oil India in 2007.
