The first ever Youth Parliament at Duliajan concluded successfully on September 10. Organised by Medha Educare Foundation in association with Oil India Limited, the event was held at Duliajan Club Auditorium with a day long schedule.

Participating the event North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous) bagged the Award of best team. While, Duliajan College and Jagannath Barooah College, Jorhat wins the second and third spots in the competition respectively. 

The jury of the competition, Anup Phukan, former MLA of Assam Legislative Assembly and former Professor of English Department at Tingkhong College, Dr. Pranjal Burhagohain, professor of Education Department, Dibrugarh University, Ganesh Khanikar, Senior Teacher, Political science, Oil India Higher Secondary School, Duliajan selected Arifa Mehnaz of Guwahati University as the best Parliamentarian and FARNAZ AFRAN ISLAM  of Duliajan College as best Speaker in the event. 

The Youth Parliament, 2022 was formally inaugurated by former Speaker of Assam Assembly and MLA of Jorhat Constituent Assembly Hitendranath Goswami. While the welcome speech was delivered by Senior Journalist and Executive president of the reception committee of the event Joyanta Bhuyan. Prasanta Borkakoty ,RCE, Oil India Limited, congrats the participants in his speech as guest of honour of the inaugural ceremony. 

In the prize distribution event, Biswajit Pegu, Deputy Commissioner, Dibrugarh district, Sankorjyoti Baruah, general secretary, All Assam Students Union, Debashish Bora, GM, public affairs department, OIL, Aditya Goswami, advisor, Medha Educare Foundation, Bedanta Prasad Baruah, president, Medha Educare Foundation, Dr. Lokbikash Gogoi, principal, Duliajan College, Hemanta Gogoi, noted educationist of Duliajan participated as guests of honour.

The meeting in this ocassion was presided over by Anil Gogoi, president of the reception committee of the competition and Executive member of AASU. Jayanta Bormudoi, general secretary of the reception committee of the competition and senior manager, public affairs department, OIL, gave the vote of thanks before conclusion of the program.
