In 2023, emotionally, it was a bitter year for me due to the unfortunate events that took place in my country.
One of the most devastating incidents was the earthquake that struck Herat, causing widespread destruction and loss of lives. The aftermath of the earthquake left many people in a state of grief and despair, as they had to rebuild their lives from scratch.

Another significant event that affected me emotionally was the deportation of Afghans from Pakistan. This sudden displacement of people from their homes and communities created a sense of uncertainty and hardship.

Witnessing the pain and struggles of those affected by this deportation was truly heartbreaking.#sanctionPakistan
One of the most significant and emotionally challenging conflicts that took place was the war between Palestine and Israel. This longstanding conflict has caused immense suffering and has had a profound impact on the lives of people in the region.
The war between Palestine and Israel has deep historical roots, with both sides having valid and deeply held narratives and aspirations. The conflict has resulted in the loss of countless lives, the displacement of families, and the destruction of infrastructure and communities. Witnessing the images and hearing the stories of the suffering caused by this war undoubtedly evokes a wide range of emotions, including sadness, anger, and frustration. #savepalestine

However, amidst the difficult times, there were moments of hope and resilience. I witnessed the collective efforts of my fellow countrymen to rebuild and restore what was lost. The spirit of unity and determination was evident as communities came together to support one another.
It was inspiring to see the progress made in rebuilding our country, as infrastructure and homes were reconstructed.

Despite the challenges and emotional hardships, I can say that 2023 had its silver linings. The resilience and strength of the people, coupled with the progress in rebuilding, gave me hope for the future. It reminded me of the indomitable spirit of my country and its people, who have the ability to overcome even the most difficult circumstances.

As I look back at 2023, I acknowledge the bitter emotions that I experienced, but I also choose to focus on the positive aspects and the steps taken towards rebuilding. It was a year of growth, resilience, and the unwavering spirit of my country.

I hope 2024 everything works out for my country and the world, inshallah.
